Group Tours in York
Our capacities have been reduced to allow for social distancing on board.
We are still able to accommodate group tours though. Your guests will be able to sit in their social distancing bubbles that they have travelled in on your coach. We do ask that you advise us of these numbers in advance so that we can reserve the correct number of rows of seats for them.
Depending on the size of your group, we may ask you to travel across two departures.
Advanced bookings of groups of 20 or more passengers save 10% off the full ticket price and will get reserved seating together on board the following cruises (plus 1 free passenger for every 20 paying on sightseeing or 1 free passenger for every 40 paying on dining cruises):

York City Cruise:
We have two departure points for our York City Cruise, the King’s Staith Landings and the Lendal Bridge Landing.
King’s Staith Landing – Group Sailing Times:
September to April: 10:30 a.m., 12 noon, 1:30 p.m., & 3 p.m.
May to August: 10:30 a.m., 12 noon, 1:30 p.m., & 3 p.m. plus additional times in between (during school holidays we cannot accommodate group bookings after the 12 noon sailing).
Close to: Jorvik Viking Centre, York Dungeon, Clifford’s Tower and York Castle Museum.
Lendal Bridge Landing – Group Sailing Times:
September to April: 10:40 a.m., 12:10 p.m., 1:40 p.m., & 3:10 p.m.
May to August: 10:40 a.m., 12:10 p.m., 1:40 p.m., & 3:10 p.m. plus additional times in between (during school holidays we cannot accommodate group bookings after the 12:10 p.m. sailing).
Close to: York Station, York Minster, Yorkshire Museum Gardens and National Railway Museum.
11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
The Lunch Cruise departs from our King’s Staith Landing only.
Afternoon Tea Cruise:
2:45 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.
The Afternoon Tea Cruise departs from our King’s Staith Landing only.
Early Evening Cruise:
6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. February, March, October & November
7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. April to September
The Early Evening Cruise departs from our King’s Staith Landing only.
Floodlit Evening Cruise:
9:15 p.m. – 10:25 p.m. April to September
The Floodlit Evening Cruise departs from our King’s Staith Landing only.
Whichever cruise you take, you will be able to relax in the comfort of one of our fleet as you cruise down the River Ouse, with the option of enjoying refreshments form the bar from the bar while listening to the informative, live commentary.
We can accommodate coach parties, large social groups or corporate delegates looking to relax between conferences. Groups pre-booking via our sales office will have a seating area reserved for them by our crew and we can assure your group of a warm welcome aboard.
We offer a discounted rate for groups of 20 or more, with 1 person sailing for free per 21 passengers in the group on sightseeing cruises or 1 person sailing free per 41 passengers on dining cruises. Group bookings however must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
The Group Organiser or Coach driver will also receive a free hot drink if they are joining the group for the cruise.
Coach drop-off and pick-up is available close to both of our moorings in York at any time of day and there is coach parking available a short drive away at the Barbican Centre on Kent Street.
For our Lendal Bridge Landing, there is coach drop off and pick up available outside the War Memorial Gardens on Leeman Road, near York Train Station.
For our King’s Staith Landing there is coach parking available at the St George’s Field Car Park.

Groups Booking Procedure:
Bookings of groups of 20 or more must be made through our Sales Office.
Initial enquiries can be made either by phone (01904628324), by completing an enquiry form below, or by email.
Once we have received your enquiry via one of the above methods, we will then be able to check availability and either confirm your booking or suggest an alternative time and/or date if necessary.
Once we have confirmed a date and time, our friendly sales team will proceed with completing your booking.

Group Booking Terms and Conditions:
Group bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Please note that the discounted group rate is discounted from the full price of a cruise tickets.
Please note that group rates are only available on weekends until 12 noon and are not available on bank holiday weekends.
Groups must arrive at the correct departure point at least ten minutes prior to the sailing. If you miss the sailing that you have booked for, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you on a subsequent sailing.
Prior to the date of sailing, we will also require a mobile number of the designated group leader on the day. This is so that we can contact you in case of any problems or rearrangements to our schedule.
