Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District invites the entire family to the Fair Oaks Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Families in the Sacramento area will have a great time with a free children’s egg hunt and treat bag (pre-registration required), craft and activity stations, a petting zoo, and pictures with the Easter Bunny! For a nominal fee, teens (ages 13-17) and adults (ages 18+) can get in on the holiday traditions and participate in the teen and adult prize egg hunts.
Get the whole family out for a day of fun with egg hunting, Easter Bunny pictures, and beautiful spring weather at Hoppin’ & Huntin’ at Hagan. The excitement will take place on Saturday, March 28th, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Cordova Recreation & Park District. The event will have basketfuls of fun with themed activities, including egg hunts, a tot lot (ages 2 and under), music, a Hopstacle Course, and more!
Celebrate the season at Easter in the Park, a free, fun-filled community event happening on Saturday, April 4th at 11:00 am at Fourth Avenue Park, 4040 4th Avenue, Sacramento. Bring your family and friends for an exciting afternoon featuring games, live music, egg runs, prizes, and delicious treats—all set against beautiful spring skies. Sacramento’s Sweet Easter Egg-scapes
All aboard the Easter Egg Express for an incredible springtime experience for all ages. Enjoy an egg hunt, a train ride, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and special access to Elkhorn Station Park, located on the Sacramento River. Light concessions will be available during the train ride, and The River Fox Café will be serving hot food at the park. Please note: no outside food or beverages will be allowed. Varying dates are available to purchase tickets throughout March and April. There are open-air and indoor seats available, as well as a gift shop to enjoy.
Get ready for an egg-citing celebration at the Micke Grove Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. This family-favorite event features 25,000 candy- and toy-filled eggs, kids’ crafts and activities, face painting, food trucks, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Gates open at 9:30 am, and the egg hunt begins promptly at 11:00 am, so be sure to bring your Easter baskets. This is a pre-registration only event with limited capacity, and registration opens at 12:00 pm on Monday, March 2. Please note that the park will be closed to the general public from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm during the event. Hop on over to Bunnies & Bonnets Family Fun Day on Saturday, April 4th, at 10:00 am for a festive Easter EGG-stravaganza at Andrews Park in Vacaville, CA! This fun-filled, all-ages celebration features all-day egg hunts (while supplies last, limit six eggs per child), free crafts and games, food and specialty vendors, plus pay-to-play petting zoo and wagon rides. New this year, families can enjoy a Sensory Friendly Egg Hunt designed for all ages and abilities. No registration is required—just bring your baskets and enjoy a joyful day of Easter fun, rain or shine!
