Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District invites the entire family to the Fair Oaks Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Families in the Sacramento area will have a great time with a free children’s egg hunt and treat bag (pre-registration required), craft and activity stations, a petting zoo, and pictures with the Easter Bunny! For a nominal fee, teens (ages 13-17) and adults (ages 18+) can get in on the holiday traditions and participate in the teen and adult prize egg hunts.
Get the whole family out for a day of fun with egg hunting, Easter Bunny pictures, and beautiful spring weather at Hoppin’ & Huntin’ at Hagan. The excitement will take place on Saturday, March 28th, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Cordova Recreation & Park District. The event will have basketfuls of fun with themed activities, including egg hunts, a tot lot (ages 2 and under), music, a Hopstacle Course, and more!
Celebrate the season at Easter in the Park, a free, fun-filled community event happening on Saturday, April 4th at 11:00 am at Fourth Avenue Park, 4040 4th Avenue, Sacramento. Get ready for an egg-citing celebration at the Micke Grove Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. This family-favorite event features 25,000 candy- and toy-filled eggs, kids’ crafts and activities, face painting, food trucks, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Gates open at 9:30 am, and the egg hunt begins promptly at 11:00 am, so be sure to bring your Easter baskets. This is a pre-registration only event with limited capacity, and registration opens at 12:00 pm on Monday, March 2. Please note that the park will be closed to the general public from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm during the event.
