9:30 am Whale Watch & Dolphin Sightings:

1 Grey Whales (juvenile)
Small Pod Common Dolphins
Mola Mola

Partly sunny with swells on the beam when heading north & south. Spotted one juvenile gray whale not far outside of Pt Loma that remained elusive. A small pod of common dolphins swam by as we were heading back along with a large mola mola.

9:30 am Whale Watch & Dolphin Sightings:

6 Bottlenose Dolphins
1 Stingray
2 Humpbacks (an adult and a juvenile)
250 Common Dolphins

It was a beautiful day on the ocean today. Six (6) harbor bottlenose dolphins and one (1) stingray were nice for the guests to see. While out on the ocean two (2) humpbacks were located at about six (6) miles out of the San Diego harbor. These were an adult and a juvenile. Flukes from these whales were many. Captain Robert, also, steered the cruise to a sighting of 250 common dolphins that were near a bait ball.

Your naturalists,

Raquel Vasquez, Glenda Maxwell
