Ticket Booth Agent
Responsibilities include: Accept payment and makes changes for ticket transactions. Issues receipts, refunds or change due to guests; sells tickets from box office as a designated cashier;  count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that 
there is adequate change; sorts, counts, and wraps currency and coins; keep daily balance sheet of payment received and tickets sold; open and close out the box office properly and arranges signage on the pier as trained; assists and manages guests in the queuing and boarding process of entrance lines to all of our vessels 
in the boarding areas; assist in the collection of admission tickets from guests; presents a clean, well-organized indoor area of the box office; performs other duties as assigned.

Senior Deckhand
We are seeking Sr. Deckhands to join our Hornblower NY team. This position requires two years of boating experience, great people skills and a flexible schedule. The Senior Deckhand will be responsible for overseeing Dining Room set up and other areas on the boat (and HCE venues) as directed by Food & Beverage Manager and Event Service Manager. Duties include but are not limited to: set-up HCE Dining Area appropriately as directed; ensure all equipment is clean and polished; ensure all linen is laid neatly; assist in other Food & Beverage projects as directed; assist in equipment between boats as needed.

Server
We are seeking talented, service minded individuals who are committed to absolute guest satisfaction in a fast paced, high energy, fun environment. Servers are responsible for ensuring total guest satisfaction regarding food quality and service while maintaining health code standards. Candidates must be professional, dependable, enthusiastic and friendly. Minimum 6 months experience with a catering or restaurant background. Must be familiar with P.O.S. system. Sales Manager

Project Administrator
We need an enthusiastic Project Administrator to join our New York Projects team. This position requires excellent organizational, project management and interpersonal skills to assist with administering special marine operations projects, including capital expenditure projects.

Mechanic
Hornblower Cruises & Events is in need of a Marine Mechanic to service its New York fleet. Position specific responsibilities: perform routine maintenance and inspections; diagnose mechanical problems and determine appropriate repair work; maintain logs and follow up reports; perform tasks independently with limited direction.

Maintenance Worker
The Maintenance position covers a varied range of responsibilities.  This person does general cleaning and repairing or other types of basic maintenance of our vessels. You may be required to climb ladders, move in confined spaces and lift up to 50lbs without concession.

Food Runner
Hornblower Cruises & Events is looking for enthusiastic, service minded individuals who are committed to absolute guest satisfaction to join our team! The Food Runner is responsible for expediting all food orders from the kitchen to the guests in a timely manner. This includes setting up and carrying trays, organizing plates and the expo station, explaining food items to the guest, assisting the Food Server and completing side work while maintaining health code standards. Food Runners must also ensure all surfaces are clean and presentable. Candidates must be motivated, dependable, enthusiastic and friendly.  Ability to obtain TWIC is preferred.

First Officer
We are seeking First Officers to join our Hornblower NY team!  The First Officer position requires two years of boating experience, good people skills and a flexible schedule. Requirements for the First Officer position include: Maritime experience aboard small passenger vessels preferred.  TWIC and MMD Required.  First Aid & CPR certified preferred.  Two years customer service experience in the Hospitality Industry. Event Manager
We are currently seeking an Event Manager to supervise the Food & Beverage operations on the Hornblower Boats. As an Event Manager, you will work closely with the Culinary Crew, Food & Beverage Director and Service Crew to ensure the guest’s experience exceeds their expectations. The Event Manger will supervise, and train Hornblower service crew. You will be responsible for communicating pertinent information to the staff concerning cruises and events. Other job responsibilities include but not limited to: assign and direct staff in their work duties; move throughout vessels to visually monitor and take corrective action to ensure food quality and service standards are met; regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer satisfaction of the passengers; solve guest disputes.

Dishwasher
Dishwashers will be responsible for washing and cleaning tableware, pots, and cooking equipment.  Must be able to keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.  Other duties as assigned.  Qualified candidates will have prior experience in catering/restaurant/hospitalty field.  Must be able to handle high pressure environments and perform moderate lifting. Cook/Prep Cook
Hornblower Cruises and Events, the premier event planning and yacht charter company, is seeking talented Cooks/Prep Cooks to work on our vessels on the New York Harbor! Qualified candidates should have some previous experience which includes prep work, line cooking and knowledge of health sanitation codes. You will work primarily banquets with a wide range of menus. Successful candidates show attention to detail in a fast paced environment. We all work as team, so you must be open to assisting in breaking down and cleaning the galley at the end of each shift. Captain
We are seeking full and part time Boat Captain’s for our New York location. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of recent captain experience. 100 Ton  licensed positions available. Requirements: 100 Ton Master’s license; TWIC; first aid & CPR  certification preferred; basic computer skills.

Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager is responsible for selling vessel charters and private events with focus on local corporate markets and non-traditional events. Position specific responsibilities: organize and participate in sales missions; conduct outbound focus sales calls (domestic and international); develop new relationships; attend trade shows (domestic and international) and networking functions; interact with potential clients and maintain relationships with current clients; respond and follow up on inquiries, online and/or by phone; develop, update and maintain a client database; develop collateral materials with the marketing department; follow through on charters/events from start to finish, attend/supervise events; create weekly and monthly sales activity reports; create annual sales budget and goals with general manager/director of sales; perform other duties, as assigned.

Bus Person
The Bus Person is responsible for setting tables, clearing tables and restocking plates for servers.  They will assist the servers with all their needs, deliver high quality customer service and complete side work while maintaining health code standards.  Duties include but are not limited to: fully stock all necessary stations with inventory; presents a clean, well-organized floor; organize plates and utensils on table and in the kitchen; assist wait staff when necessary; bussers must completely reset all dirty tables within a timely manner of the Guest departure.
