DAYBREAKER celebrated it’s one-year anniversary in style with a morning rave cruise aboard the 210-foot Hornblower Infinity in New York Harbor on Thursday, December 18, 2014.

The anniversary festivities featured beats by Burning Man’s legendary DJ, The Scrumfrog, with musicians from the Juilliard School illuminating the Infinity‘s dance floor with additional tunes for everyone’s enjoyment.

DAYBREAKER donated a portions of their anniversary cruise proceeds to the Urban Arts Partnership, an incredible organization that provides arts education programs for youth in lower-income schools across New York City.

Here’s a note from the DAYBREAKER founders regarding the anniversary event:

On Thursday, December 18th, DAYBREAKER returns to New York City on a morning holiday cruise you won’t soon forget.

Let’s just say Santa Claus is coming to town.

We can’t believe it. It’s been one heck of a year. Thank you for waking up with us all these months as this global dance movement has — incredibly — grown to five cities, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, London and Atlanta. It all started here in New York City, and we are so stoked to celebrate DAYBREAKER’s amazing inaugural year with you at our final event of 2014.

To set the vibe for our anniversary festivities, Burning Man DJ legend The Scumfrog will submerge us in deep beats as we sail the Hudson on the Hornblower Infinity for our third and final boat cruise for the year.

Musicians from Juilliard will illuminate the dance floor with sounds that will make your ears dance as much as your body. In turn, we’ll share the love by donating a portion of all ticket proceeds to Urban Arts Partnership — an incredible organization that provides arts education programs for youth in lower-income schools across NYC.

The party starts at 6 am, and cast-off is at 6:30 am SHARP. Docking is 8:30 am for those who have to clock in, and festivities go until 10 am for those who can stay.

Questions? Send us a note at [email protected]. See you on the high seas!
