Feel the Magic in Marina del Rey

Spend some time this Halloween season in the beautiful seaside community of Marina del Rey. Known for its pristine harbor and marvelous sunsets, this boater’s paradise offers family-friendly Halloween events for the entire family and some bone-chilling fun for adults as night falls too.

 

Marina Spooktacular

Marina Spooktacular is a fun, family-friendly Halloween party on the harbor. Everyone will have a great time during this free, two-day October 26-27 festival. There will be a blackout maze, a graveyard treasure hunt, a haunted pirate ship, arts and crafts, food trucks, and a DJ for you and your little boos. As darkness descends the frights intensify in Burton Chace Park. Remember your costume and camera and be prepared for the scare!

Marina Movie Night

A good time is brewing at Burton Chace Park as this fun-filled two-day Halloween Spooktacular festival on the harbor offers haunted pirate ships, food trucks, and more. Free admission.

Shoreline Zombie Walk

Shoreline Village’s annual Long Beach Zombie Walk + Halloween Party returns Saturday, October 11, 2025! Festivities kick off at 4:00 pm – so join in for a family-friendly event. This is a FREE Community Event! RSVP on Facebook to keep posted, and save the date! Remember, YOU are the Zombies, so please come dressed up and walk in the Zombie Walk. Children MAY attend this event; however, this part of the event is geared towards adults and will be scary, so plan accordingly.

Battleship IOWA Halloween STEMabration

Join the Battleship IOWA on Saturday, October 18, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. for our fifth annual Halloween STEMebration—a free, family-friendly evening of spooky fun and hands-on learning. Kids can enjoy six candy stations, a trunk-or-treat with first responders, and a variety of festive games like Witch’s Ring Toss, “Boooo-wling,” Spider Rockets, Eyeball Bounce, and Pumpkin Bean Bag Toss. STEM and craft stations will spark creativity with activities such as Halloween Simple Circuits, Spooky Tangrams, a Slime Factory, and the Candy Tower Challenge, while the Spooky Reading Corner offers a cozy spot for stories. With plenty of treats, activities, and surprises, this event is a safe and exciting way to celebrate Halloween. Free parking is available for the first hour in the lot adjacent to the Battleship, with a $2 fee for each additional hour.

 

No Nightmares in Newport Beach
