This year marks the fifty-fourth anniversary of Philadelphia’s first Gay Pride Parade – one of the city’s largest outdoor festivals of the year. An annual inclusive celebration with live performances, food, entertainment, and more – Philly takes Pride seriously and celebrates love in all forms.  

Philly Pride returns from Sunday, May 31 through Sunday, June 7, 2026, bringing a full week of colorful celebrations, parties, block events, and community gatherings across Philadelphia under the direction of Galei. Most festivities take place during the second weekend, culminating in the city’s biggest Pride celebration on Sunday, June 7th, with the annual Philadelphia Pride March and Festival in downtown Center City. The day-long event celebrates love and inclusivity with live entertainment, music, speeches, community resources, and a festive parade beginning around 10:30 a.m. from 6th and Walnut Streets.

Many events and nightlife celebrations are centered around Philadelphia’s historic “Gayborhood,” located between 11th and Broad Streets and Pine and Chestnut Streets, known for its iconic rainbow street signs, bars, clubs, and vibrant Pride atmosphere. Immediately following the march, get ready for full festivities at 13th and Locust Streets – from noon to 7pm.
