April 18, 2019 – Hornblower Group has acquired Entertainment Cruises, uniting the best-known names in the river and harbor cruising industry in one company. The transaction brings together the best in product experience and execution, with an expansive footprint of thirteen brands, 150 vessels and almost 5,000 shipmates across 19 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
The newly merged businesses will boost Hornblower’s Cruises and Events division and offer broader choice of locations and experiences for guests in the dining, sightseeing, transport and charter cruise segments.
CEO Kenneth Svendsen continues to lead Entertainment Cruises as President of Hornblower’s Cruises and Events division, reporting to Hornblower Group Chairman and CEO Terry MacRae.
