Chicago, June 5, 2020 – Seadog by Hornblower will be restarting its Chicago operations on Friday, June 12, offering a choice of sightseeing cruises and thrilling boat rides in accordance with Governor Pritzker’s phased reopening plan. With 100 percent outdoor seating, the company’s fleet of Seadog vessels can easily be arranged for social distancing with reduced capacity. Rides last between 30-75 minutes and all occur outside in the fresh air, so there is more than enough room on board for everyone to stay safely apart.

A 30-minute Lakefront Speedboat Tour and Extreme Thrill Ride – the ultimate adventure experience on Lake Michigan – is also offered and features entertaining narration presented by an onboard guide. For now, Hornblower will be offering a choice of Seadog cruises and tours only, and plans to resume its full range of experiences, including dining cruises and special events, when current restrictions are lifted. Chicago will be the company’s fourth US port to reopen, joining Baltimore, Newport Beach and San Diego.
