He’s travelled the world, he’s short and stout and he loves his red cap. If you guessed old Saint Nick a.k.a Santa Claus, guess again. The world famous garden gnome also know as the Travelocity Roaming Gnome made a visit to the honeymoon capital, Niagara Falls, Ontario this past weekend. The story about the roaming gnomes began in 2004 when he was nabbed from a ‘very boring garden’ and since then travelled to hundreds of exciting countries around the world making him a famous icon for the world wide online travel-booking agency. This occurrence happens quite often where travel enthusiasts would be on the hunt for garden gnomes by stealing them and packing them in backpacks for a fun and social experience to share with family and friends back home. Many may ask where is home for the famous gnome. Based out of Texas, the gnome finds time to relax from his travels.

Travelling on the ‘Voyage to the Falls’ boat tour brought much excitement for guests and staff who recognized the small but big celebrity figure.
