Marcello: Italy in the heart of Paris

Tucked away in the chic 6th arrondissement, Marcello is the type of place you want to keep secret. Its dolce vita atmosphere and sophisticated modern decor give it an Italy-meets-NYC vibe, which also shines through in every delicious bite.

From Italian specialties like creamy truffle burrata and crispy cornetto-style croissants stuffed with hazelnut-chocolate cream, to fluffy mascarpone-topped American pancakes, everything comes served in generous portions by staff who couldn’t be more friendly or welcoming.

When to go: Brunch is served daily at Marcello starting at 8 a.m.

Buvette Gastrotheque: A jazzy Parisian bistro

The charming 9th arrondissement boasts a pretty respectable list of icons—Pigalle, the Moulin Rouge, and Montmartre, just to name a few. But when it comes to brunch, no place beats Buvette Gastrotheque.

This small but adorable spot serves up small plates you’ll be dreaming about long after you’ve taken the last bite. Each of their dishes—such as the cheesy croque monsieur, buttery scones with orange marmalade, or french toast soaked in custard cream—reflect a commitment to traditional European cooking, no matter how modern they seem.

If you’re craving some of the best brunch in Paris but don’t feel comfortable eating out, Buvette now offers their menu for takeout and delivery within the city.

When to go: Buvette opens at 11 a.m. The kitchen is operational during all opening hours (keep in mind they do close for a few hours in the afternoon on weekends).

Coffee Parisien: Old-school American vibes

With the red sofas, juke box, and griddle scent wafting out of the kitchen, you might think you’re brunching in 1950s Manhattan.

Despite the name, Coffee Parisien brings a decidedly American vibe to the Paris brunch scene in the form of all the stateside specialties you could want. We’re talking chicken and waffles, steak and eggs, and plenty of pancakes to boot. The vibe here is just as international as you’d expect, as Parisians and visitors from all corners of the world crowd in every weekend to enjoy the home-cooked goodness.

When to go: Coffee Parisien is open from noon until midnight with continuous service all day long.

Maison Sauvage: An urban jungle

The floral accents and wild plants might look like something off of a film set, but all the credit for the colorful, glam setting goes to Maison Sauvage itself.

Located right on the Instagram-worthy rue de Buci, the atmosphere here couldn’t be more charming. Order off the a la carte menu, or go with the preset brunch option for €25.

Everything at Maison Sauvage is fresh, healthy, and filling enough to power you through a day of sightseeing. Just be sure to call ahead and reserve beforehand—this little space is popular and fills up fast.
