Chef created Signature Meals with Curbside Pick-up from San Diego, San Francisco and Newport Beach
April 1, 2020 – With Californians being asked to stay indoors for the foreseeable future, the chefs at Hornblower Cruises and Events have created a selection of dining to-go options for locals looking to celebrate the Easter holiday in the comfort and safety of their homes. Customers can expect a delicious selection of signature dishes and guest favorites – all meals are fully cooked and come with easy to follow re-heating instructions. And in keeping with social distance recommendations, Easter meal boxes will be available for collection via a curbside service. There’s no need for customers to get out of the car – the Hornblower team will be standing by to pack up their meal for them.
Easter dining to-go boxes are offered from three locations:
San Diego
A delicious menu of freshly prepared guest favorites are offered, including Baby Green Salad with Goat Cheese, Tomato and a White Balsamic Dressing, alongside a delicious Honey and Orange Glazed Baked Ham entrée with Whipped Truffled Mashed Potatoes and Herbed Carrots served with freshly baked Artisan Rolls. To finish, there’s a decadent Lemoncello Cream Cake with strawberry compote.
Prices start from $49.95 per box for two people or $99.00 for a larger box catering for up to four people (excluding sales tax). Bottles of wine, beer and a Mimosa package are also available for purchase. Orders can be placed up to midday April 9. Easter meal boxes will be available for collection on Saturday, April 11 between 12-2pm at Hornblower’s Office, The Abbey, 2825 5th Avenue, San Diego, CA 92103.
Every order placed will receive a complimentary Seafarers Pass per person (2 or 4 depending on box size ordered) valid for a one- or two-hour harbor tour on San Diego Bay!

San Francisco
Brunch includes an indulgent assortment of dishes like Roasted Quinoa Salad, Baked Honey Glazed Ham and Country Mustard entrée with a Soyrizo and Sweet Potato Hash plus sides of Three-Cheese Mac & Cheese and Roasted Garlic and Herb Red Potatoes with Strawberry Shortcake for dessert.
For dinner, there’s a freshly prepared tasty menu of specialties like New England Clam Chowder, alongside a Harissa Lamb Shank entrée accompanied by White Bean Cassoulet, Brussels Sprouts and Gremolata and a New York Cheesecake to finish. A three-course vegan dinner menu is also available.
