HORNBLOWER’S GONE COUNTRY FOR ST. JUDES
Josh Turner proved that he can really heat things up, smack dab in the middle of winter, for the sold out KSON’s St. Jude Radiothon Cruise Concert. On board the Inspiration Hornblower, excited fans were treated to an intimate performance by one of the biggest names in contemporary country. Turner’s been churning out billboard hits since 2001 with his debut “Long Black Train.” Hits such as “Firecracker,” “Your Man” and “All Over Me” are favorites on any country lovers’ playlist.

Turner welcomed his “Southern San Diego” audience with jokes about this being his second time entertaining on a boat (his very first time was on what he referred to as a “houseboat”). His first song of the night—“Your Man”—was dedicated to “San Diego ladies.” Surely, a couple knees melted to his booming bass voice, which had many reaching for a sweet tea.

Last year, the Radiothon raised more than $204,000 for St. Jude Children Research Hospital. We were incredibly honored to have the chance this year to help this wonderful cause. We look forward to more honky tonk times on the water—if the boat fits, wear it!
