Offering Al Fresco Dining and Sightseeing Experiences from Chelsea Piers and Lincoln Harbor Marina, NJ

New York, July 15, 2020 – With New York dining and sightseeing cruises restarting the week of July 20, Hornblower Cruises and Events is now offering an exciting choice of al fresco experiences for those craving a getaway – all without leaving the city! Boasting the Big Apple’s most sought-after roof tops, mesmerizing views are guaranteed while cruising aboard the company’s fleet of modern yachts.

While guests can still expect the same high standards and welcoming service, experiences have been adapted to reflect the need for social distance, alongside elevated health and hygiene practices. And with expansive outer decks, vessels also provide plentiful space and fresh air – there is more than enough room on board for everyone to stay safely apart.

Hornblower’s General Manager, Nilda Bracero is urging fellow residents to take a staycation and let the city surprise them all over again: “What better way to celebrate summer and rediscover the world’s most iconic city than from the spacious deck of one of our cruise vessels! We are thrilled to be able to offer an expanded program of dining and sightseeing experiences from our berths on Manhattan and in New Jersey.”

These include, but are not limited to:
  • Mandatory daily crew member health screening, and wearing of appropriate PPE
  • Revising boarding and ticketing procedures to allow for social distancing and touchless entry
  • Requiring guests to wear face masks while cruising, except while eating and drinking
  • Reducing the number of guests on board, and adapting all seating and table spacing to allow for a minimum 6-foot distance between guests while they cruise
