Today Chelsea Film Festival launched its fourth season hosting a meet and greet with directors aboard the Hornblower Esprit.

The mission of the Chelsea Film Festival is to highlight the work of emerging filmmakers, producers and actors from around the globe and this year’s program is a testament to this lofty goal.

The festival hopes to empower those who take risks in their storytelling, be it short films, documentaries or full-length features, providing valuable exposure for young filmmakers to help foster and develop independent talent.

As well as an incredible selection of films there will be Q&A sessions and other related events such as an industry mixer for professionals and the Reel Magic Hour®, a day long program allowing filmmakers the opportunity to meet, network, supported by the Sundance Institute.

The festival crew set the scene for a fantastic four days of film aboard the Hornblower Esprit for a meet and greet with the directors of the many films that will be screening. It was a picture perfect scene on New York Harbor that will surely be matched by the scenes to be seen on the big screen.

Hornblower is proud to be a Friend of the Festival and to have the opportunity to contribute to the local community as well as be involved with a festival actively fostering independent, creative people within the arts and film community.
