King’s Staith Landing Group Sailing Times

September to April: 10:30 a.m., 12 noon, 1:30 p.m., & 3 p.m.
May to August: 10:30 a.m., 12 noon, 1:30 p.m., & 3 p.m. plus additional times in between (during school holidays we cannot accommodate group bookings after the 12 noon sailing).

Nearby attractions: Jorvik Viking Centre, York Dungeon, Clifford’s Tower and York Castle Museum.

Lendal Bridge Landing Group Sailing Times

September to April: 10:40 a.m., 12:10 p.m., 1:40 p.m., & 3:10 p.m.
May to August: 10:40 a.m, 12:10 p.m., 1:40 p.m., & 3:10 p.m. plus additional times in between (during school holidays we cannot accommodate group bookings after the 12:10 p.m. sailing).

Nearby attractions: York Minster, Yorkshire Museum Gardens and National Railway Museum

School and College Groups

We offer a discount rate of 10% for these groups if they consist of 20 or more, plus one free place for every 20 paying passengers, to a maximum of 5 free places. The discounted rates for our daytime York City Cruises and our Early Evening Cruise can be seen below.

(Please note that whilst Under 5’s sail for free there is a limit of 3 Under 5’s per 2 paying Adults or Concessions. Groups of Under 5’s would be required to pay the child group rate).

Educational Groups Booking Procedure

Bookings of groups of 20 or more must be made through our Sales Office.

Initial enquiries can be made either by phone (020 7740 0400), email ([email protected]) or by completing an online Educational Group Booking Enquiry Form. Please note that completing an enquiry form online does not confirm that time and date for your group.

Once we have received your enquiry via one of the above methods, we will then be able to check availability and either confirm your booking or suggest an alternative time and/or date if necessary. Once we have confirmed a date and time, our friendly sales team will proceed with completing your booking.
Group Booking Terms and Conditions

Group bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance.

Please note that the discounted group rate is discounted from the full price of a cruise ticket and not from the already discounted online cruise ticket prices.

For groups which consist predominantly of children aged 15 and under with a minority of children aged 16 and over, all passengers will be charged at the child group rate.

For groups which consist predominantly of students aged 16 and over with a minority of children aged 15 and under, passengers will be charged at their respective group rate.

Please note that group rates are only available on weekends until 12 noon and are not available on bank holiday weekends at all.

Groups must arrive at the correct departure point at least ten minutes prior to the sailing. If you miss the sailing that you have booked for, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you on a subsequent sailing.

Prior to the date of sailing, we will also require a mobile number of the designated group leader on the day. This is so that we can contact you in case of any problems or rearrangements to our schedule.
