March 11, 2020 – Hornblower has an excellent safety and sanitation track record and has always operated and maintained a rigorous process around cleanliness and hygiene. Our teams in every location work hard to ensure that they meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning protocols.

Given the current health concerns regarding the spread of coronavirus, we would like to assure our guests that we are taking all steps necessary to ensure the wellbeing of everyone on board.

Specific steps we are taking include proper and frequent hand washing, thorough disinfection of food preparation surfaces before and after service, alongside sanitization of all tables, bars, wait stations, galley and equipment before and after service.

In addition to these measures, we are:

▪ Increasing the frequency of our cleaning procedures, with focus on high-touch areas like handrails and doorknobs, and other surfaces.

▪ Placing anti-bacterial hand sanitizer throughout the vessel for everyone to use.

▪ Ongoing training and enhanced hygiene education of onboard team members.

▪ Avoiding unnecessary person-to-person contact, including shaking hands.

While there have been no reported cases of the virus in our operations, we are fully committed to doing what it takes to keep our guests and team members safe and healthy during this challenging time. We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization’s (WHO) statements regarding COVID-19 cases and following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments.
