As part of our Alcatraz Gives Back initiative, we are thrilled to offer complimentary Bay Discovery Cruise tickets to all K-5 students enrolled in public and private schools within San Francisco. 

This Community Outreach Program is designed to provide young students with an unforgettable experience, combining education and adventure. From exploring the natural beauty of the Bay to learning about its rich history and significance, this cruise offers an engaging opportunity to spark curiosity and create lasting memories.

Who Qualifies?

  • All K-5 students in San Francisco Public, Charter, Homeschool and Private schools are eligible for complimentary Bay Discovery Cruise tickets.

How it Works

To book your complementary tickets for your child:

  1. Book Tickets Here
  2. Complete the reservation process.

You will receive booking confirmation via email. When you arrive for the cruise, please check at the ticket booth with the following: 

  • The booking confirmation (printed or digital).
  • Proof of your child’s enrollment in a San Francisco K-5 school (e.g., student ID, report card, or enrollment verification).

Important Information

  • Accompanying Adults: All children under 18 must be accompanied by an 21 year old adult, and the adult is required to purchase a regular ticket. Tickets can be purchased here. 

  • One adult can chaperone up to 9 students.

How do I receive my ticket?
