9:30 Observación de ballenas y delfines:

Grey Whale
4 Bottlenose Dolphins
Common Dolphins
Sea Lions

It was a beautiful day on the water, where we saw a gray whale heading south, 4 bottlenose dolphins on the bow, a small nursery pod of common dolphins, and a lot of sea lions. The cruise was busy with people from all over the world, including Sudan, Germany, Singapore, and more! It was a fun naturalist presentation, as a lot of the kids were really involved and interested!

9:30 Observación de ballenas y delfines:

Risso’s Dolphins

We had a beautiful sunny day with calm seas for our trip in search of marine life. Captain Jose headed offshore to the 9-Mile Bank and turned south, where we found a pod of Risso’s dolphins. These large dolphins swam along the side of the boat and across the wake, providing passengers with an opportunity to observe their behavior and get some great photos.

9:30 Observación de ballenas y delfines:

Gray Whale
Common Dolphin

Under sunny skies and calm seas, our first encounter with marine life was a small pod of Common Dolphins feeding. We continued our search offshore to the 9-Mile Bank, where a Gray Whale blow was spotted, and found a cow/calf pair. While they were not very active, we did see a fluke as we had to leave and make our way back to the dock.

Tu naturalista,

Glenda
