The Travelocity ‘Roaming Gnome’ made a stop at Niagara’s newest experience, Hornblower Niagara Cruises to enjoy the mist and the sites of the mighty Falls. His visit to Ontario included a number of Niagara Falls attractions as part of the ‘Ontario Seize the Summer’ online contest that gives Canadians a chance to win $21,000 in summer travel. They say great things happen in threes and that was exactly what happened on Tuesday, June 10th 2014 as Hornblower Niagara Cruises, in Niagara Falls, Canada held a Boat Christening Ceremony & Official Launch Celebration. The event began with opening remarks from a number of dignitaries followed by the christening of the catamarans, champagne, cake cutting and concluded with a spectacular Falls Fireworks/Falls Illumination Cruise. Terry MacRae, Hornblower Co., President & CEO, along with his Wife, Mary and two Daughters, Grace & Camille took part in the ceremonial christening as the honourary Godmothers for the Hornblower vessels.
